The Dist. Scheduled Castes Service Coop. Society Ltd., Nizamabad was setup in the year 1974 with a view to take up programme for economic development of Scheduled Castes in the district. The Corporation is registered under the AP Co-op Society Act 1964. As per the decision made by the Government of AP, the DSCSCS is not a lending agency but acts as FACILITATOR by giving 50% or Rs.30,000/- whichever is les as subsidy on the unit cost from 2008-09 onwards. The Scheduled Castes Action Plan 2010-11 envisages to assist (7447) beneficiaries with an outlay of Rs.1317.56 lakhs. The SC Corporation will provide 50% subsidy i.e., a maximum limit of Rs.30,000/-only. I BANK LINKED SCHEMES: 1. Self Employment Schemes:- (87) un-employed SC youth will be assisted with an outlay of Rs.117.00 lakhs with the assistance of banks. Funding Pattern
2. Vulnerable Groups:- : (253) un-employed SC youth of Safai Karmacharies, Flayers & Tanners, Cobblers, Leather based professionals/artisans, Released prisoners, Bonded Loburs and Jogins will be assisted with an outlay of Rs.155.00 lakhs with the assistance of banks. Funding Pattern
3. Minor Irrigation Schems : (114) units with beneficiaries, Extent of 570.00 Acres with an outlay of Rs.46.83 lakhs for Bore Wells, Submersible Pumpsets, Pipe Line etc., will be assisted with the help of banks. Funding Pattern
4. Land Purchase Scheme : (74) SC Land less Agricultural Women Labour with an Extent of 74.00 Acres with an outlay of Rs.74.00 lakhs will be assisted with the help of banks. Funding Pattern
5. Animal Husbandry Schemes : (124) beneficiaries with an outlay of Rs.95.90 lakhs for sanction of Dairy Units (Two Animals), Sheep Units will be assisted with the financial assistance of banks. Funding Pattern
II SCHEMES WITH SCA/EMF & OTHER DEPARTMENTAL SUBSIDY 1. Minor Irrigation Schemes : (42) units with (94) beneficiaries,an Extent of 235.00 Acres with an outlay of Rs.22.79 lakhs for sanction of Bore Wells, Submersible Pumpsets, will be assisted. Funding Pattern
2. Energisation : (289) units with (588) beneficiaries, outlay of Rs.60.56 lakhs for sanction of Service Connection charges/Developmental charges and ORC Line Laying charges will be assisted. Funding Pattern
3. Vulnerable Groups : (20) beneficiaries with an outlay of Rs.2.00 lakhs for rehabilitation of Bonded Labour and Jogins will be assisted. Funding Pattern
4. Pavalavaddi Schemes : (564) beneficiaries with an outlay of Rs.22.56 lakhs will be assisted. Funding Pattern
5. Placement Oriented Training Programmes (Vocational Tranings): (152) SC Educated un-employed youth with an outlay of Rs.20.40 lakhs for Imparting trainings like Business Correspondents for Commercial Banks, Poultry Contract Farmers (Integrated poultry model), Medical Services and Other viable courses will be takenup. III Schemes under Convergence with Line Dept.(SCSP) : (5251) SC beneficiaries with an Extent of 3301.00 Acres with an outlay of Rs.704.82 lakhs for sanction of Agriculture & Allied activities, Energisation, Animal Husbandry Schemes, Self Employment Schemes will be takenup. Identification of beneficiaries shall be through Mandal Level Identification Camps / Committee alongwith Joint Identification Camps consisting of IKP,BC Corporation, Minority Corporation, ST Corporation, Officials and MDO, MRO alongwith the Banker. The beneficiaries should be from Below Poverty Line family. ACHIEVEMENT IN 2007-08, 2008-09 AND 2009-10
