INTERMEDIATE EDUCATION

     The District Vocational Education Officer, Nizamabad is functioning under the control of Director of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. Its main functions are :-
  1. The monitor the development activities of the Govt. Junior Colleges and Aided Junior colleges of Nizamabad district about its functioning and service matters of the Principals, Lecturers, Physical Directors, Librarians and Non-teaching staff.
  2. To visit Government Junior colleges/ Aided Junior colleges and verification of records about admissions and other academic matters.
  3. To monitor the allocated funds and other activities of the Government Junior colleges such as Contract faculty honororium and various Scholarships like Economical, poor persons scholarships, Uttama Vidyarthula Upakar Vethanam, Non-speaking hindi scholarships, National merit scholarships and to monitor the SC/ ST/ BC/ Minority scholarships sanctioned to Government Junior colleges/ Aided Junior colleges of Nizamabad District.
  4. To assist the Regional Inspection Officer, Board of Intermediate Education, Nizamabad in conduct of Intermediate Public Examinations March and Intermediate Advance Supplementary Examinations twice in a year.

     In Nizamabad district there are 31 Government Junior Colleges and 3 Aided Junior Colleges are functioning.
