This Scheme is proposed on the right Bank of River Godavari near Kosli village Navipet Mandal to supplement the ayacut in the command of Nizamsagar Project from Distributary No.50 to Distributary No.73 to an extent of 53,793 Acres.

            The Government have accorded administrative approval for the scheme for Rs.107.87 Crores, vide G.O.Ms. No.206 dt: 23-12-2002. The Expenditure incurred on this Scheme so far is Rs.184.96 Crores. The Government has accorded the revised administrative approval for Rs.261.30 crores vide G.O.Ms.No.213, I&CADD dt:-25-11-2006. The Scheme is entrusted to M/s.L&T for a contract value of Rs.163.98 Crores. Subsequently additional works for Rs.28.286 Crores are also entrusted to M/s.L&T. The technical details of the scheme are as follows :-.

1st Stage :- 720 cusecs of water from Godavari river is proposed to be lifted from Kosli (Vg) Navipet (M) on Right Bank and proposed to be dropped in to cistern at Bharathnagar Tanda 2.20 Kms away, by pressure main (with 2 rows of 2.20 M dia M.S. pipe line) and from there, the water is proposed to be dropped into Thadbiloli Tank by Gravity Canal 2 KM. length.

2nd Stage :- In second stage water is proposed to be lifted from the foreshore of Thadbiloli Tank and proposed to be dropped in to a Cistern at Kalyapur Gutta. 3.14 Kms away by pressure main (with 2 rows of 2.20 M dia M.S. pipe line) and from here, it is proposed to carry water by Gravity canal called link canal in to Distributary. No.50 to irrigate 9302 Acres and another in the gravity canal II @ 2 KM from delivery cistern to irrigate 10,052 Acres under SD 50/2 and balance water 455 cusecs is proposed to be dropped into Pocharam tank by Gravity canal.

3rd Stage:- In third stage water is proposed to be lifted from Pocharam tank and proposed to be dropped in a Cistern near Alisagar gutta centre by a pressure main and from this point, it is carried by Gravity Canal and proposed to be dropped on the D/s. of stop-gates of Alisagar ie., into NSP Main Canal at Mile 56 and also into Alisagar balancing reservoir.

Status:- Pipe Line Pump House - I, II & III and Electrical Sub-station for Power Supply are completed and the Scheme has been commissioned on 04.11.2007 by Hon'ble Chief Minister.

Balance Works:- Balance works to the tune of Rs.30.00 Lakhs in the original contract such as revetment to the fore bay, lining to approach channel at Stage-III etc are to be carried out by the agency. Supplemental works entrusted to the agency i.e., Lining to 3rd gravity canal and link canal for 2.40 KM length, Repairs & Rehabilitation works from D/50 to D/82 are likely to be completed by 31-12-2007.
